Jessica MacGregor, B.Sc., ACDBC, CPDT-KA

 

Jessica is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, certified through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).

She has been training dogs for over 15 years and teaches in a variety of settings including indoor and outdoor group sessions, and private in-home, urban, and virtual sessions.

Jessica is an active member of the community, volunteering and working with shelters and rescues, providing assessments and rehabilitating dogs for adoption. She also maintains relationships with local veterinarians and assists dog (and cat!) owners with their training needs.

She specializes in behavior modification, helping to recreate the trust and family bond with aggression and anxiety cases.

Jessica’s primary focus since 2016 has been Service Dog training. She found a passion for assisting owner-trained Service Dog teams in the Ottawa valley, using her years of experience working with special needs dog owners. She has experience training Service Dogs for psychiatric, PTSD, light mobility, stability, counterbalance and bracing, vision, hearing, medical alert, and autism assistance.
